We invite you to join us at ECCV’s special member forum on Thursday, 15 June at Box Hill Town Hall. The forum will focus on how we can go beyond symbolism and tackle racism together in a meaningful way.

Nathan Lambert MP, Parliamentary Secretary for Multicultural Affairs and Co-Chair of the Anti-Racism Taskforce, will provide an update and lead discussions on the development of the Victorian Government’s state-wide Anti-Racism Strategy. This is an opportunity to hear about progress made on the Strategy, and help shape its potential goals.

Victoria University Associate Professor Mario Peucker will also present on our collaborative research project into the barriers people face in reporting racism, as well as on place-based anti-racism initiatives.

A panel discussion and Q&A exploring effective anti-racism responses will follow. More speakers will be announced shortly.
