On 28 August, ECCV is co-hosting a multicultural community forum on the Voice referendum in partnership with Fraser for Yes and Yes23.

We will hear from guest speakers:

• Guyson Baker, National Indigenous Officer at the Australian Workers’ Union
• Dr Shireen Morris, Senior Lecturer at Macquarie Law School and Director of the Radical Centre Reform Lab
• Mohamed Mohideen OAM, Victorian Multicultural Commissioner and Vice-President at the Islamic Council of Victoria
• Dr Berhan Ahmed, CEO at Africause and adjunct Professor at the University of Melbourne

The forum will be an opportunity for people from migrant and refugee backgrounds to hear from a constitutional lawyer as well as leaders from First Nations and multicultural communities about the importance of supporting the referendum and a First Nations Voice to Parliament.

This is a free event, but registrations are essential.
