Join ECCV, the City of Greater Dandenong and Bunurong Land Council on Sunday, 8 October for an open conversation about the upcoming Voice referendum.

The event will begin with a Welcome to Country and Smoking Ceremony in Harmony Square, followed by a panel discussion at the Dandenong Civic Centre.

• Aunty Irene Fisher – Proud Jawoyn woman, Chair of Nairm Marr Djambana Gathering Place
• Rabecca Mphande – President of Afri-Aus iLEAC, Secretary of Voice of the Outer South East
• Dr Shireen Morris – Senior Lecturer at Macquarie Law School, Director of Radical Centre Reform Lab
• Aran Mylvaganam – Founder of Tamil Refugee Council, Community Development Officer at South-East Monash Legal Service

Hana Assafiri OAM, outstanding community advocate and founder of the iconic Moroccan Soup Bar, will moderate the panel discussion.

There will be an audience Q&A after the panel discussion. We encourage you to attend and ask questions. Come along to learn more about the referendum, what it aims to achieve and why it’s a positive step forward for all Australians.
