Ethnic Communities’ Council of Victoria (ECCV) welcomes the opportunity to provide input to the Federal Government review of the Student Visa Program.
In 2010, ECCV produced a comprehensive research paper examining issues affecting international students titled Classroom Victoria: Perspectives and Precedents regarding the Duty of Care for International Students1 . The following submission reiterates some of the recommendations made in that paper as well as addressing specific topics and questions canvassed in the review discussion paper.
