COVID-19 Multicultural Outreach

ECCV is supporting migrant and refugee communities across Victoria during the roll-out of the COVID-19 vaccine program, as well as continuing to inform and support COVIDSafe responses in multicultural communities.

Our current COVID Outreach Program includes two streams – targeted outreach to priority communities and dedicated outreach to seniors through ethnic seniors’ clubs, ethnic associations and social groups.

Our bilingual community outreach team is being deployed alongside health providers and others to deliver community education through information sessions, workshops and forums for CALD  communities across metropolitan Melbourne.

We are engaging with ECCV member organisations to deliver information sessions and distribute targeted communications materials to priority cohorts, including those communities deemed most at risk in accessing appropriate health pathways and supports.

Our team is working alongside a range of organisations, with the goal of keeping migrant and refugee communities appropriately engaged, supported and informed about the public health response to the coronavirus pandemic.

If you would like to organise an information session for your community group or disability service provider, please contact us at eccv@eccv.org.au.

This project is supported by the Victorian Government through the Priority Response to Multicultural Communities during Coronavirus (PRMC) program.
