LATEST: State Election Platform 2022

ECCV is proud to present our policy platform for the upcoming Victorian election.

Our 2022 State Election Platform calls on the Victorian Government to learn from the experiences and systemic gaps exposed during the pandemic and ensure that our diverse communities can respond, rebuild and recover equitably.

The platform makes 55 recommendations and proposes actions across key priority areas – including health and wellbeing, aged care, disability, anti-racism, employment, youth services and emergency management.

At the heart of the Platform is our call for new Multicultural Strategy, that takes a whole-of-government approach to engaging and supporting migrant and refugee communities. We must work together to co-design, coordinate and deliver policies and services that are more equitable, accessible and culturally responsive.

Our comprehensive platform focuses on measures that will help build a stronger, more resilient and inclusive Victorian community.
