
Chief Executive Officer – Ethnic Communities’ Council of Victoria (ECCV)

We are seeking an experienced and inspirational CEO to lead the Ethnic Communities’ Council of Victoria (ECCV). Building on our legacy in multicultural affairs, the CEO will oversee all aspects of the organisation. The CEO will ensure that ECCV is a leading voice for culturally diverse Victorians, drive and shape multicultural policy, as well support members, community, business and government to build an inclusive and diverse society.
ECCV is the peak body representing migrant and refugee communities in Victoria. We are a member-driven organisation committed to strengthening and building our community through advocacy and leadership, informing industry practice and influencing governments at all levels on a range of issues, including anti-racism, equitable access to services and socially just policy.
The CEO will have demonstrated ability to build positive relationships with a range of stakeholders. They will have a history of positively leading diverse teams of people and have the proven capacity to oversee the delivery of organisational strategic plans by working with and reporting to the Board of Directors.
This role presents a unique opportunity for a purpose-driven and outcome-focused CEO to lead a well-established, well-respected organisation on its next steps towards growth and sustainability. As ECCV prepares to celebrate our 50th anniversary, this will be an exciting opportunity to help shape multicultural policy in Victoria.
