Multilingual resources promoting respect within migrant and refugee communities
In 2020, the Ethnic Communities’ Council of Victoria partnered with Multicultural Centre for Women’s Health and inTouch Multicultural Centre Against Family Violence to promote respect and call out assumptions about violence against migrant and refugee women.
The 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence campaign ran from 25 November 2020 on International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, until 10 December 2020 on Human Rights Day.
We developed four digital tiles in Arabic, Simplified Chinese, English, Karen, Hindi and Vietnamese to encourage conversations about respect in your community.
