Elder Abuse Prevention

The Ethnic Communities’ Council of Victoria coordinates a statewide project delivering community education and raising awareness of elder abuse, its prevention and supports among culturally and linguistically diverse seniors in Victoria.

The project is delivered in partnership with Seniors Rights Victoria and has developed a number of bilingual community education resources, including the Within My Walls Film (left sidebar). Project resources (below) can be downloaded.

We are proud to recognise the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin nation, as the first Australians, cultural leaders and traditional custodians of the land from which we advocate for ethnic community groups. We pay our respects to their elders, past & present.
