Born in Melbourne I grew up in a Jewish household, my father arriving from Poland in 1932.  I attended Melbourne University completing a Bachelor of Social Work.

I have been involved in community service as a professional and a volunteer all my adult life.  I worked as a social worker for Jewish Welfare with people with a disability for 13 years until 2001 and later in 2013 returned to work at its successor Jewish Care, managing the Employment Centre.  In the past, I have also served in a volunteer role on a number of oversight and steering committees of community organisations as well as coaching community football teams.

I am a member of the ECCV PACEET committee and in 2018 was involved in assisting with the ECCV conference on Employment.

I am skilled in supporting people particularly from a CALD background and people living with a disability predominately in job seeking.  I also manage an NDIS accredited service with ties to a Disability Employment Service and a Jobs Victoria partner.  I am an experienced mediator, careers counselor and service manager and currently, also manage the loans program and financial counselors at Jewish Care.
