I am passionate to advocate for the people who are vulnerable and are in need and I believe in what once Albert Einstein said: “Only a life lived for others is a life worthwhile”.

I am currently serving as the Chairperson for the Albury Wodonga Ethnic Communities’ Council (AWECC) for the 2nd term, with the help of AWECC I am able to advocate for the all member CALD communities including all migrants and refugees.

I think it is important to bring forward the issues that are still at large and are affecting various ethnic communities/groups, I like to focus on is gender equality area and help raise the awareness in community-related to the issues of family/domestic violence.

Early this year, I was bestowed with the award of Citizen of the Year 2019 and in 2017, I was honoured with a bravery award from New & Emerging Community Leadership Program for raising the awareness for violence against women.

Early this year I have graduated from the Alpine community leadership program and previously I have ventured through many other academic curriculums to best gather the skills needed to serve the community.

I also believe together we all can create a better and safer world for us and our generations to come.

    let’s get started.
