I am seeking your support to continue on the ECCV board at the AGM on 4th Dec 2019. I am a community connector, negotiator, volunteer and Human Rights advocate for refugees, migrants and vulnerable communities at local, national and international levels. I am passionate about social justice, multiculturalism and fair go for all Australians.

    I’ve served as the Board of Directors of ECCV and Convenor of the NEC Policy Committee for 10 years. I’ve served 8 years in FECCA leadership as a board member until Oct 2019.

    I am the first person of Bhutanese origin appointed in South Asian Communities Ministerial Advisory Council in 2018 and Victoria’s Multicultural Champion (at the Government House) in 2017 by the Victorian Government for my work in breaking down barriers and misunderstanding between culturally diverse communities in Victoria.

    I represented Australian refugee communities at the Annual UNHCR NGO Consultations in Geneva from 2010-2019.  I hold a Master’s degree in Horticulture from the University of Melbourne and Alumni of Leadership Victoria’s FOLIO Leadership Program 2016. I work for Victoria Police as NECLO since 2012.
