Goran holds a Master’s in Financial Management and is a current PhD Candidate in the research field of Entrepreneurship in Ethnic Communities, with extensive experience in the private and Government sectors. His ongoing professional engagement is with Monash University and Chisholm Institute as an academic staff. His financial and economic management, strategic planning, project management, social inclusion and community development knowledge, experience and professionalism have been a significant contribution to the Macedonian Community Welfare Association since 2007 and are highly valued by his fellow Board members, MCWA staff and the wider community.
His previous community engagements involve the MCWA where he served as President for several years.
His professional work engagements include; various professional appointments within Australian corporate sector (Microsoft, BP, Shell, NAB, Keolis), a senior member of the Macedonian Government in the capacity of Advisor to the Prime Minister, Head of various Departments within Macedonian Government Ministries and Agencies, Chairman of the Advisory Board of the Macedonian Airport, Chairman of the Shareholding Assembly of Macedonian Telekom and President of both charitable foundations of Macedonian Telekom.
Goran’s continuous involvement and contribution towards community work are particularly emphasised in his passion for advocacy, strategically monitored and driven projects and services outcomes within the ethnic communities, specifically in relations to entrepreneurship opportunities in job creation, equality, aged care, disability, and financial and economic prosperity.
