ECCV has a new interim Executive Officer, Jill Morgan AM.
Jill is an experienced CEO with a long history of working in the multicultural arts industry. She has strong business development and professional skills in Nonprofit Organisations.
Jill has worked extensively in multicultural and indigenous arts in Australia. Jill is the former CEO of Multicultural Arts Victoria and was previously the Executive Director of Kulcha, Multicultural Arts of Western Australia. She has been an active cultural and community development worker and leader in multicultural arts. Jill has contributed significantly to multicultural arts policy development and strategies locally and nationally. She is committed to ensuring equality of opportunity for all Australians, including newly emerged communities and the right of all Australians to express and share their cultural heritage through the arts. She is passionate and has a strong track record in developing contemporary arts and cultural expression in the sector.
She was awarded the prestigious Sidney Myer Performing Arts Award facilitators prize in 2013 which pays tribute to outstanding excellence in the Arts in Australia. Jill also received an Order of Australia in the same year for significant and outstanding service to the promotion of multicultural and indigenous art through leadership roles in arts organisations.
The process for a new permanent Executive Officer is well underway. Currently the recruitment process is at the interviewing stage.
