We’re delighted to present our 2020-2021 Annual Report.
With robust grassroots engagement and collaborative relationships with stakeholders, ECCV continued to be a strong voice for people from migrant and refugee backgrounds in Victoria throughout 2020-21. In a year overshadowed by the global COVID-19 pandemic, ECCV advocated tenaciously to make sure that people from migrant and refugee backgrounds are heard and centred in decisions that affect our lives and communities.
In 2020-21 ECCV delivered several new projects, including Community Outreach to support communities through COVID-19, and the National NDIS Community Connector Program. ECCV projects employ bicultural workers to help build connections and effectively reach vulnerable communities. We continued to support capacity building projects across the sector, with an emphasis on disability advocacy, seniors groups and elder abuse prevention.
