Policy Submissions & Position Papers

The following policy areas form the basis of policy review and development for the eccv in 2010.

At the Victorian State level:

Aged care for culturally and linguistically diverse communities (CALD);
Language services provision;
New and emerging communities;
CALD communities and drug and alcohol issues;
CALD communities and families, women, youth and children
Racism and discrimination
CALD communities and mental health issues.

At the Federal Government level ECCV will keep a watching brief on the following areas:

Population policy
Counter-terrorism laws; and
Support for Multiculturalism.
