Policy Submissions & Position Papers

The following policy areas form the basis of policy review and development for the eccv in 2010.

At the Victorian State level:

  • Aged care for culturally and linguistically diverse communities (CALD);
  • Language services provision;
  • New and emerging communities;
  • CALD communities and drug and alcohol issues;
  • CALD communities and families, women, youth and children
  • Racism and discrimination
  • CALD communities and mental health issues.

At the Federal Government level ECCV will keep a watching brief on the following areas:

  • Population policy 
  • Counter-terrorism laws; and
  • Support for Multiculturalism.
